Chap 2

I stand awaiting the result impatiently
I sit and I twitch in my seat
I worked so hard to get where I am
They call my name
I walk past the others
Thinking about the last week

We got through so much
The written and the physical tests
We ran and we jumped
We cleared the training course together, as a team

Oh how we all want the same thing, to succeed
But only a selected few will go through
I walk to her as she gives me a smile
I know, at that moment, I made it through

Am I happy or am I sad?
I got what I wanted but I left my friends back
Of course such is life
Some make it this way, others in another
