Nothing But A Dream


I run and run
I try to hide
I see it chasing me
This big black bird
The size of a block

It looks at me
Smiles as if taunting me
As if telling me that I can't escape it
I run and I run
Around the corner
I see a cat
About to go down in a hole

It tells me to follow
It's dark as a night when people are alone
We look behind us
The bird is gone
The cats starts humming
I laugh
It's my favorite song

I hear my name in the distance
I feel a jolt
I open my eye
It was nothing but a dream
